Terms of Use

Lantern, by David Godinez LLC · Effective September 24, 2026

Lantern works because people are kind to each other and honest about hard days. These terms are what we ask of you, and what you can expect from us.

Who can use Lantern

You must be 18 or older. You use your real name.

Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your email (or with Apple), so keep your email account secure. You are responsible for what is posted from your account.

Zero tolerance for abuse

Lantern has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members. Not allowed, ever:

We remove content that breaks these rules and remove members who post it. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Not medical advice

Members share what worked for them. That is experience, not medical, legal or financial advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions about someone's care.

Reporting and blocking

Every post and profile has Report or block. Blocking means you and that member no longer see each other anywhere in Lantern.

What you post stays yours

You own what you post. By posting it you let Lantern store it and show it to members inside the app. That permission ends when you delete it or your account. Only post what you have the right to share.

Copyright

If something on Lantern infringes your copyright, email hello@yerisoh.com with your contact details, the work, where it appears, and a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized. We remove infringing material.

The service

Lantern is provided as-is. We work to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or end features, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes and contact

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell members in the app. Questions: hello@yerisoh.com.
