Your account, your call
Delete your account
You can delete your Lantern account whenever you want, right in the app. Here is exactly how, and exactly what goes.
In the app (right away)
- Open Lantern and sign in.
- Go to the You tab.
- Tap Delete my account at the bottom.
- Tap Delete my account for good. It happens immediately.
Can't get into the app?
Email hello@yerisoh.com from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Lantern account". We confirm it's you and delete it the same way, within 7 days.
What gets deleted
Everything:
- Your account, email and profile (name, handle, bio, photo)
- Your posts, replies, photos, recipes, resources, events and listings
- Your messages
- Your likes, saved posts, circle memberships, RSVPs, reports and blocks
- Your notification tokens
We keep nothing afterwards. Any copy in our hosting provider's backups expires on its own within 7 days.
